What “print-ready” actually means
A print-ready file is what keeps your price down and your turnaround short — and it is easier than it sounds. Send us:
- PDF where possible — it carries fonts and layout reliably
- 300 DPI images at final print size (a photo pulled off a website is usually 72 DPI and will look soft)
- 0.125″ bleed — background color and images extending past the trim line
- Text kept 0.125″ inside the trim so nothing gets cut off
- CMYK color if you can; we will convert RGB, but colors can shift slightly
If any of that is unfamiliar, send what you have anyway. Our preflight catches these problems automatically and we fix simple ones free — we would rather spend ten minutes fixing your file than have you miss your date.

How much do flyers cost to print?
Around $0.20 per piece for 4×6, $0.28 for half-sheets and $0.40 for 8.5×11 full sheets, full color. The per-piece price drops at 500 and again at 1,000 — the exact number shows on screen before you pay.
What size flyer should I choose?
8.5×11 when people need detail (menus, price lists), 5.5×8.5 half-sheets for promotions, and 4×6 handbills for street distribution and bag stuffers. When in doubt, half-sheet is the workhorse.
Can I get flyers printed the same day?
